WORKSHOP PROGRAM
The workshop will take place in Naples, from December 28, 2008 (arrival within 16 p.m.) to January 4, 2009 (departure January 5).
We will work and live in the bowels of the city, in the popular quarters of Stella (Sanità), S.Lorenzo (Borgo S.Antonio), Montecalvario (Quartieri Spagnoli, Cavone), Pendino (Duomo).
We propose an experience of full immersion, where passion for photography is daily lived in an informal and convivial atmosphere.
On the 28 of December, after putting everyone up in the prechosen accommodations and after a first introducing meeting, Obiettivo Granieri Association will be glad to greet all with a welcoming dinner.
During the stay in Naples, our point of reference and meeting point will be a house in the lively quarter of S.Lorenzo. It will be the staff center, where every day we will have lectures, discussions, critiques of the work, which will follow to the time devoted to shooting, but the daily program is flexible in order to satisfy everyone's needs (both students and teachers).
The center is provided of a darkroom where the rolls will be developed every day and printed the contact sheets.
We will have dinner every night together; the places will be decided day by day. We have already selected some nice small restaurants where we can eat good and plentiful Neapolitan food for maximum 15/20 euro per person.
The workshop will go on for 7 intensive days and it will end with a final slideshow of the selected work of the participants, open to the public, followed by a dinner and a closing party.
