"This workshop will explore the thin line that defines the boundaries between our personal vision and the subject we want to explore.
We will learn creative ways of reframing the world through our own visual metaphors, going beyond the objective/subjective dilemma and stressing the importance of the emotional message and the elements needed to tell a story. We will value the content and the need to establish a personal point of view as a means of questioning the prevailing visual alphabet.
We will try to find solutions, endlessly partial, to the crucial questions of reality-based photography: how can we challenge the prevailing conventions of storytelling and reach for our deep emotions? How can we avoid the cliché and learn how to read the picture beyond our preconceived ideas? Can that perceptive moment of collision between inside/outside lead us to a different and unique understanding of what happens around us?" L.P
