The Association is a non-profit cultural organisation. It is mainly comprised of women photographers, it is located in Sicily in the evocative fortified nineteenth century farmhouse of Poggio Castel Granieri just a few kms from Caltagirone
Our goal is to promote photography as a medium for knowledge and communication, to increase the dissemination of the visual arts and to sow cultural seeds in an otherwise culturally barren territory.
We want to offer an opportunity for cultural and professional growth through exhibitions, cultural events, workshops, short and long-term courses, exchange programmes and artist residences from different cultural backgrounds.
The Association has received financial support from the EU, thanks to the community programme Leader+Sicilia 2000/2006.
